Bags from rags

Shopping bags and a bra washbag made from recycled jeans and curtains:

These were all made as presents for Christmas and nearby birthdays.

Each bag is a bit different as I try out new things and according to the properties of the jeans I have available.
I only use jeans that have something wrong with them - holes or bad stains - and use the bits that still have lots of life in them.
Any jeans I get given that are in good condition go to a charity shop.
The linings of the shopping bags are made from old curtains.
